Cufré

At the birth of the Cufré Brook, next to a granite quarry, it started as a group of houses around the train station in 1898, a farming town located on the highest place of the department, on a derivation of the Grange Ridge.

In the Rosario Chico Brook the waters run among the so called “seas of stone” forming water falls and natural pools highly recommendable for their crystal clarity and purity.

Other attractions are the mural painted on the barn of AFE (Administration of the National Railways) on occasion of its 100th. anniversary, the stone quarries and the surrounding cattle and farming establishments.
